Stratus Click Pen, Zebrawood with Gunmetal Hardware

This handmade Stratus pen was turned from a zebrawood blank and features gun metal hardware. Parker style refill.
This handmade wood pen started as a wood blank. It is cut to size on a bandsaw, a hole is drilled in the center and a brass tube is glued in place. After the glue is set, I turn the pen on my lathe to the desired shape and size. Sanding with 6 different grades of sandpaper – getting finer and finer as I go along to gives it a smooth look and feel. Once it is sanded to the desired grit, a finish is put on it and it is buffed for a shine. After that is assembly!
